PASTOR AARON CAMPBELL
Pastor Aaron Campbell, a Memphis native, was called into ministry in 1976. He has served as Senior Pastor of Rising Sun for 20 years and was a dedicated member and even Assistant Pastor for several years prior. Under his leadership the ministry has grown tremendously and continues to progress as an outreach ministry. Pastor Campbell graduated from Southside High School in 1970. He continued his education at the University of Memphis, and in 1973 he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business, with a concentration in Marketing Management.
He serves as President of the Local chapter of Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches of North America (PCCNA). He is also a Board Member of both Family Matters and AGAPE Whole Life Fellowship, Inc. Pastor Campbell has a real passion for nurturing the spiritual growth of his members along with others. His major strengths are planning, organizing and training others to live better lives as servants of God. These strengths are revealed daily at the Rising Sun Christian Development Outreach Center, which he founded in 2000. He spends time there ministering to the young men and has been effective in helping many of them receive Christ in their lives. He lives in Whitehaven with his lovely wife Patricia. They are the proud parents of four children; Adrienne, Alicia, Patrick, and Antonio (deceased)
